english As a joint founder of modern Hardtechno he is often asked what style he’s playing. Usually he just answers: “I play Kaoz Style”. On special occasions many things can happen at a night with Kaoz. He wants to give the punters something special. At the recent Nature One Festival in Germany he played at the CenturyCircus Mainstage and the Abstract Floor to a crowd who went mental. Not only in a musical way he drives the crowd crazy. The head of six vinyl labels like Abstract Rec, Wired, 6feetunder and one Compilaton-Label completed his career recently with a residency in Germany’s leading Technoclub : The U60311 in Frankfurt am Main. However, he always acts to his slogan : Forward ever, Backward never. He would never rest on his laurels and takes his crowd on a global voyage. Kaoz is or will be at the Wheels of Steel in near future in Countrys like Austria, Slovenia, Czech, Brazil, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium and Germany. As a founder of Abstract, one of the leading Agencys in the Hardtechnoscene he founded his own recordlabel two years back. Abstract Records released records from producers like Sven Wittekind, Robert Natus, Pet Duo, Arkus P. and Frank Kvitta. Likewise on Abstract Records, Kaoz first own Record “Kaoz - 4 life” has been released a couple of months ago. At present he works on several Remixes, Co-productions and on his forthcoming EP

"Music has always been something special to me. With seven years I started to take piano lessons. Afterwards, gigs with school bands followed. Anyway, as time passed by I always tried to add some electronic influences to the music - an idea the other band members did not always approve of. Thus, it was time for a new beginning..."
2001, Arkus P. released his first vinyl on Schubfaktor Records. The record was played by DJ Rush at the Nature One festival amongst others and can still be found in a vast quantity of DJ-mixes. Until late 2004, the amount of releases has risen to more than 30 including labels such as Highball, Definition, Artillery and various other important record companies. Gigs all over Europe aswell as in different parts of Germany consequently followed and furthermore, many gigs in overseas are about to come.
"While I am performing live a certain feeling overcomes me as the mood and the atmosphere of the crowd overwhelms me. This is the reason why I often avoid complicated live-setups. Shortly before the gig I program nothing but a few patterns which I reprogram during performance according to the mood of the crowd... Most of the things happening live are impossible to be reconstructed afterwards."
Early 2004 it came to a promising cooperation with Robert Natus. Their first single became the top-selling vinyl of the year 2004 and following a CD-release on Kontor Records, the track even earned a German single sales-charts entry!
"Teaming up with Robert [Natus] will always bring up something very special. Our musical influences and ideas flow seemlessly into each other. We are both very different artist with very different approaches to music production. But when ideas by both of us are combined it always results in something very particular."

Robert Natus is a man who not only certainly knows his own mind but also continuously and straight sets new standards. He is a member of the young savages who could set up a steady place in the music scene in a nutshell and besides stands out as the creator of the genre Hardtechno. His musical foundation was already laid to the turn of the millennium, besides, he succeeded in 2004 with the introduction of the progressiv music character Hardtechno in pulling an incalculable and also abstract demarcation to the item "Schranz" which was falsely associated with him and his sound.

In the foreground of creating new sounds stands the passion and vision of his original composition. The emerging complete own music, his trend setting style and the fresh approach to sounds and effects adopt him already today to an icon of the genre progressiv techno, although his label deals sophisticated with every single section of electronic music.
Bitshift, Natus' first platform for releases of his own sounds and by now definitively avant-gardist, belongs together with the successor Systemcalls to the genre Hardtechno whereas his newest label Favourite Tools has to be assigned to the genre Grooving Techno.
